Upstanding HQ Privacy Policy
Effective July 31, 2026. BP Roofing Ventures LLC, doing business as Upstanding Roofing ("Upstanding Roofing," "we," "us," or "our"), operates Upstanding HQ, a private internal operations, reporting and business-intelligence application for authorized company personnel. This policy applies to information processed through Upstanding HQ, including information obtained from QuickBooks Online through the Intuit Developer Platform.
Who may use Upstanding HQ
Upstanding HQ is not a public consumer application. Access is limited to authorized Upstanding Roofing personnel and approved service providers who need access for their assigned business duties. User accounts and permissions are managed by Upstanding Roofing.
Information we access
When an authorized user connects a QuickBooks Online company, Upstanding HQ may access accounting and business information made available through the permissions approved in Intuit’s authorization screen. Depending on the features enabled, this may include company profile information, chart-of-account data, customers and vendors, estimates, invoices, payments, bills, expenses, deposits, financial reports, balances, transaction identifiers and related metadata.
Upstanding HQ may also process account identity information needed to identify the connected QuickBooks company, OAuth access and refresh tokens, connection status, synchronization timestamps, import history, error records and security logs. Upstanding HQ does not request or store a user’s Intuit password.
How QuickBooks data is used
QuickBooks data is used only for authorized Upstanding Roofing business purposes, including internal financial reporting, revenue and expense analysis, cash and gross-profit visibility, reconciliation with operational systems, management dashboards, duplicate prevention, audit history, troubleshooting and application security. The current QuickBooks integration is designed for read-only reporting and does not intentionally write transactions back to QuickBooks Online.
Sharing and sale of data
Upstanding Roofing does not sell, rent or use QuickBooks data for third-party advertising, data-broker activity or the training of general-purpose artificial-intelligence models. Information is not shared between unrelated QuickBooks customers. Data may be disclosed only to authorized Upstanding Roofing personnel; vendors that host, secure, maintain or support Upstanding HQ under confidentiality and data-protection obligations; Intuit as required to operate the connection; or government authorities when required by applicable law.
Storage and security
Upstanding Roofing uses reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect information. These measures include role-based access, encrypted transport, protected storage for OAuth credentials, restricted administrative access, logging and monitoring appropriate to the application, and efforts to prevent credentials or QuickBooks data from appearing in public pages or application logs. No electronic system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Retention and deletion
OAuth tokens are retained only while needed to maintain an authorized connection. When access is revoked or the integration is disconnected, Upstanding HQ stops requesting new QuickBooks data and invalidates or removes the stored connection credentials as reasonably practicable.
Imported accounting information and related audit records are retained only for legitimate internal business, security, accounting and legal purposes. An authorized user may request deletion of imported QuickBooks data by contacting us. Following verification, we will securely delete or de-identify the requested data unless retention is required by law, needed to establish or defend legal claims, or required for legitimate accounting records. Residual copies may remain temporarily in protected backups until those backups cycle out under normal retention procedures.
Your choices and rights
An authorized QuickBooks company administrator may disconnect Upstanding HQ through the application, revoke access through Intuit account settings, or contact us for assistance. Subject to applicable law and company-record obligations, an authorized user may request access, correction or deletion of personal information associated with the connection. We may verify identity and authority before completing a request.

Intuit independently processes information under its own terms and privacy statement. Upstanding HQ is provided by BP Roofing Ventures LLC and is not sponsored or endorsed by Intuit Inc. QuickBooks and Intuit are trademarks of Intuit Inc. Other connected services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices.

We may update this policy when Upstanding HQ features, connected services or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate company channel or within Upstanding HQ.
